Paneer Butter Masala recipe

Ingredients for Paneer Butter Masala recipe:

  1. 1/4 kg paneer (small squares)
  2. 4 onions
  3. 2-3 Tomatoes
  4. 3 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  5. 2 tsp Red chilli powder
  6. 2 tsp Coriander powder
  7. 1/2 bunch Coriander leaves
  8. 1/2 cup Cream
  9. 1 tsp Garam Masala
  10. 3 tsp Oil
  11. Salt to taste

Method of preparation for Paneer Butter Masala:

Take a frying pan and pour oil to it. Fry paneer pieces till it is light brown. Keep it aside. Now fry onions in the same oil till it turns golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder and coriander powder. Cook for 2 minutes and add tomotoes pieces to it. Fry it thoroughly. Add cream, salt and garam masala and mix well. Let the ingredients come to boil. Now add paneer pieces to it and cook well.

Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot. Paneer Butter Masala is primarily a north Indian dish which goes well with naan, roti, puri or even pulao.
