Potato salad is prepared with ingredients like potato, yogurt, garlic and onion, which together are very easy to digest. This food preparation is great during meals or could be taken between meals, whenever you are hungry and time for meal is long away.

Take a pan, add water and put potatoes to it. Potatoes should be completely covered with water. Now cook it for 15 to 20 minutes till it becomes tender. Now remove the potatoes from the pan and let it cool down a bit. Peel potatoes and cut it into medium sized cubes. Now heat oil in a frying pan and add onions. fry it until it turns slightly brown. Add garlic paste to it and fry it for further two minutes. Now add salt, turmeric, cumin and mix it well. Add the cooked cubes of potatoes and cook it for 2-3 minutes. Pour yogurt in the mixture and mix it gently. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves and green chilies.
